INFORMATION FOR NEW FAMILIES
WHAT IS EDSMART?
We use Edsmart to communicate with our families regarding events happening at school. If permission is required for your child to attend an event or participate in an activity, an email will be sent to you requesting permission. We will often also send a text message if there is something important we need to communicate with our families. An email asking you to sign up will be sent to you when your enrolment with the school is confirmed. If you are having any problems, please come and see our friendly Administration Staff.
WHAT CAN I USE QKR FOR?
The Qkr App allows you to purchase School Canteen orders, make School Fee payments, pay for special trips and excursions and order and purchase School Uniform. You can also set up individual profiles for your children, so that canteen orders can be delivered to their classroom and you don't have to re-enter the details each time. Qkr can be accessed through the Skoolbag App. If you are having any problems, please come and see our friendly Administration Staff.
WHY HAS MY CHILDS FACE BEEN BLURRED IN PICTURES?
We take the privacy of our students very seriously. When you enrol your child at Leighland Christian School you select if we have permission to use photographs and footage of your child on our social media and website. If your child's face has been blurred, you have chosen not to give us permission. If you would like to change these permissions, please contact us.
WHO DO I CONTACT IF I HAVE QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS
Depending on the circumstances of your questions or concerns, we encourage you to speak directly to your child's teacher as the first port of call. If you still have concerns please contact the school to arrange to speak with the Principal of your child's campus.
WHEN DO REPORTS COME OUT?
