SIMON is Leighland’s learning management system where students, teachers and parents are able to access and engage with classes and learning online. SIMON allows for students to login and see their timetable and calendar for the day, daily notices, view lesson plans and access their schoolwork. Students can also access their assessment tasks and are able to submit and receive feedback for their work.

 

Parents also have access to their child’s learning through the Parent Access Module (PAM). Parents are able to keep up to date and receive notification of completed assessment tasks and see their child’s progress. Parents also receive copies of their child’s reports through SIMON.

 

SIMON is used differently depending on the year level for students with different features used depending on their age, with teachers giving support to students to engage with learning online.
