Expressions of Interest are sought for the following positions at our Burnie Campus:
PRIMARY TEACHERS:
-Prep Teacher
(Burnie Campus)
The successful applicant/s will be responsible for:
-
Delivering teaching of biblical perspectives integrated in each subject area.
-
An understanding or willingness to learn PBL pedagogy.
-
Collaborating and positively contributing to the teaching and learning culture of the school.
-
Strengthening home/school partnerships where parents' support is valued and encouraged in the belief that there will be improved learning opportunities and quality outcomes for students.•
-
Implementing a hands-on curriculum based on the Early Years Learning Framework or The Australian Curriculum that invites students’ exploration and reflects a commitment to personalised learning.

Outstanding classroom practice and comprehensive experience using Information Technology within a teaching and learning program
-
Fostering and maintaining the wellbeing of students in a Christian education environment.
The successful applicant/s will have:

Proven commitment to Christian faith including active/regular involvement in a church.

A good understanding of and commitment to the mission and philosophy of the school.

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a range of school community members.

A commitment to the provision of equal opportunity in education for all students.

Current Tasmanian Teacher’s Registration (or the ability to obtain one).

A current Working with Vulnerable People card.

A written reference from a pastor/minister.

POSITION VACANT
Expressions of Interest are sought for the following position:
ICT Support Technician
(Ulverstone Campus)
About the role
The ICT Support Technician is part of Leighland Christian School’s ICT Department and is responsible to the ICT Manager. The ICT Support Technician will be required to perform a range of technical tasks in supporting school leadership, staff, and students.
About you
• Relevant experience or qualifications in an ICT environment would be an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
• Cert III/IV in ICT is desirable.
• Certification as an ICT Technician (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) is desirable, or demonstrated relevant experience in an ICT support technician role.
• High level of Workplace Health and Safety competency
• Must hold a current Working with Vulnerable People card (‘Employment’ status)
• Must hold a current licence and be willing to drive own vehicle (fuel reimbursement provided)

Leighland Christian School seeks to appoint inspiring and engaging educators.
A Relief Teacher is required for our Burnie Campus/Ulverstone Campus.
A current Tasmanian Teacher’s Registration (or the ability to obtain one for Teachers), a Working with Vulnerable People card and a written reference from a pastor/minister are essential components of the application.
