Sea FM Burnie Christmas Parade 2024 Guidelines

IMPORTANT: Please read carefully

• Parade Start Time: 6:00 PM

• Road Closures Begin: 5:00 PM

• Large Vehicles Entry: From 4:30 PM

• Small Vehicles, Bikes, Walkers, etc.: From 4:45 PM

Entry Instructions:

• Floats must enter via Labrooke Street turning right on Marine Terrace, driving down to the Portside Car Park.

• Entry via Spring Street will not be permitted.

• Walkers are requested to remain with their float and not wander during the lineup process.

• ​

Float Lineup and Movement:

• Floats will be given a number at the Portside Carpark, you will then be instructed to then go take your position on Marine Terrace.

• Due to the increased number of floats this year, orderly lineup is essential. We aim to keep the center of Marine Terrace open to allow marshals to move floats forward if necessary.

• Walkers and participants accompanying a float should remain on the footpath , not on the road, to maintain clear access for the parade.
